The Toowoomba Hockey Association is regarded as one of the most unique sporting associations in Australia. The Association is unique in that it combines a fully licensed clubhouse with two artificial hockey fields, three competition grass fields and an administration building that overlooks the international-standard Balsam H2OZ XLS water-based field installed in 1998.
All of the facilities are located on 10 acres in the western region of Toowoomba that are wholly owned by the Association. The sporting facilities at Clyde Park are used not only for Hockey, but for other sports as well.
In November of 1999 Futsal was played as a major summer sport. The Queensland Masters Futsal Championship was scheduled for November 19, 20 & 21. The Toowoomba AFL Umpires Associaition also use the Club faciliies for training. There are many sports and events which the Toowoomba Hockey Associaition Complex would be suitable for. If you have any queries regarding whether your sport could be played here, please give us a call and ask us.
